Tomorrow, my furniture is being picked up to move
to Florida. About ten days ago, I got a high school
English teaching position with the Broward County
PublicSchools (that's Fort Lauderdale).
I am so relieved getting out of school administration.
My new apartment is only 10-15 minutes from my school
and my daughter's school is less than 5 minutes away.
One of my brothers and his wife are moving to the
area this winter so my parents are buying down there,
too.
Working with you really helped my onfidence at a
bad time. My interviews went much better this time
than in the past. I got hired only 1.5 hours after
the interview.
I will be making only a little less than before.
Yet, I can be home by 3 p.m.

Mary Ann, thank you SO much for your
presentation. It was timely, it was relevant, and
very well received. Several of our members had been
recently downsized and/or are looking at new careers.
As one lady said afterwards (and she
had tears in her eyes) "I'm excited about my
future now. She pumped me up."
She also said that your advice
to listen to your intuition really hit home. She
has been dreaming about opening an art gallery/coffee
shop, and a friend of her parents mentioned that he
might be interested in partnering with her...and I
think you have helped push her in that direction.
